‘75年サンフランシスコ生まれ。
プロスケーターとして活躍し、アパレルブランドのディレクターを経て、’03年にChang co.,ltdを設立、’04年SSより自身のブランドAlexaderLeeChangを立ち上げる。
ストリートを軸にしながらも独特のセンスから生み出される洋服は、様々なアイデアが凝らされたものも多いが、自由で自然体な服には根強いファンが多い 。
The Tokyo-based designer Alexander Lee Chang sports a diverse heritage.
Chang grew up during the apex of the West Coast skateboard culture, an influence that continues to influence the designer’s work. Chang’s collection of casual but hip designs has little concern for consistent combinations of prints and colors.
